A virtual hall pass for use by teachers andstudents that replaces paper hall passes currently in use. Allowsstudents to download the Virtual Hall Pass Application onto theirpersonal Android device, which can now be used as a pass to leavethe classroom. Students will complete required fields of the hallpass and then bring the pass to their teacher. The teacher willconfirm that the required fields are correct and then the teacherwill enter the required password. Once the teacher password isentered the hall pass is locked so that no further changes can bemade. When the student returns to the classroom the teacher willre-enter the password to unlock the hall pass for furtheruse.

Handy ELA allows users to type in sentences ofall kinds and discover the literary elements hidden within thetext. A new teacher emerges within the palm of your hand to easethe pain of learning the intricacies of the English language.It is highly recommended for users to create an account so theirwork will be saved. After creating a new account, a user will typein a simple sentence they suspect to be a metaphor and then press“clue me in.” The app will then tell the user if the sentence is ametaphor and the reasons why the specific sentence includes ametaphor. The breakdown box indicates which nouns are beingcompared to one another. This handy tool app conveniently saves theuser’s sentences.When the user is ready to review their work, they simply clickon the “All Sentences” box and they will be able to view all oftheir previous inputted sentences. Once the user selects a sentencefrom the drop down list, the breakdown comparison explanation willfill the original box.The capability to decipher a simile and personification willcome in future updates.This app is designed by Danielle R.
